Abstract:
The paper aims to introduce a development approach for spatial crime analysis in city infrastructure projects. The growing expansion of cities and their high capacity for habitualization has made the city to be a place for a range of social events. Now, the phenomenon of crime is highly frequent in cities due to its nature. The development of practical tools, therefore, is of great importance to monitor and prevent crime in cities. The current paper has been presented with a general plan of the way crimes are analyzed in the TSM hierarchical structure; and then, it has been addressed via ARC GIS software, as a clustering test crime, in Ghazvin Mehr Housing projects. The findings reveal that the most critical crime hotspots are traced in the central part of the projects. Moreover, studying the variety, composition, and land use rate in the central area and the crime incidence frequency display that most of the crimes have taken place in the commercial/ administrative zone of this part of the city.
