Young Researcher Contest

General information:

The Scientific Committee of ISPRS International GeoSpatial Conference 2019 organized four contests in different disciplines and applications regarding to the conference main themes. Accordingly, the young researchers (max 35 years old) are kindly invited to contribute to one of the following contests and provide their own structure and algorithms in order to produce high quality results which will be further assessed by our international scientific referees.  

Contest No.1: 3D Modeling of Building from GeoSLAM Point Cloud Data

Contest No. 2: Individual tree detection from Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV)

Contest No. 3: IoT-based Ride-sharing Systems

Contest No. 4: Damaged Building Detection Using Multi-Temporal High Resolution Google Earth Images

Deadlines and delivery of results:

=== Deadline for  result  submission  for all contests is 31 July  15 August 2019   23 September ===

The results should be submitted to the conference email address: geospatial.conf@ut.ac.ir . The complementary materials including the images, technical reports and other documents should be uploaded in Google Drive and link should be provided inside email.

Evaluation and Prizes:

All submitted materials including results, technical reports, and programing codes will be evaluated by selected international scientific committee of the GeoSpatial Conference 2019.

The first ranked participant in each contest will be awarded by special prize (such as Laptop, Tablet, and grants) from the conference organizers.

The above mentioned high ranked participants are asked to present their results in a special session during the conference.

Contributions with high scientific innovation can be considered as a full paper in the selected journals (EOGE, Desert and JGIT).
