Abstract: |
Recently the Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) and their applications and usages are developed considerably, but there are some restrictions in accuracy or other criterions that limit the urban applications, particularly in Real Time Kinematic (RTK) positioning with GNSS, by increasing the distance between rover receiver and reference station, the distance dependent errors limits the ability to resolve the ambiguities and the results are not reliable, to overcome the problem , more than one reference station proposed that then promoted as concept of network RTK (nRTK). In urban areas accuracy is variable that affected by different conditions such as used corrections algorithm, environmental conditions (buildings, trees), etc. In this study we investigate the accuracy variations by assuming some particular environmental conditions with different algorithms. The importance of this research is the practical aspects as experienced by land surveyors on nRTK. We have treated the method as a black box and investigation on the results are performed. Sometimes surveyors have the centimetric accuracy in the GNSS controller but this might be not very reliable in some urban areas. |
